We are a family who fell in love with Äkäslompolo and the spirit of Lapland long before we built our holiday homes here. 

No matter the time of year, there is always something new, refreshing, and inspiring to experience.

Hiisi Lodge and ÄkäsHiisi Lodge are privately owned by us, and we have created them with the same care and comfort we appreciate when travelling ourselves. Every detail — from the cosy fireplace to the welcoming sauna — reflects our wish to offer a warm and relaxed environment where guests can enjoy Lapland as much as we do.
