Sauna Stove user guide for HiisiLodge I:

1. Sauna Room
Always check the sauna room before switching on the power. Do not dry clothes in the sauna or cover the stove in any way—these are the most common causes of sauna fires. A drying cabinet (NIMO) is provided in the utility room.
Keep the sauna door closed toward the washroom at all times.
2. Turning on the Sauna Stove

The thermostat is preset—please do not adjust it.
For immediate heating, set the timer to A 1–4.
For scheduled heating, use B 1–7 (see picture on the left).
🌬️ Sauna Use
Please shower before entering the sauna. In Finland, people typically sauna without clothing.
Disposable seat covers ("peflettis") are available in the utility room and must be used on the benches.
Use lukewarm water when throwing steam. Pour a small amount of water onto the stove with the ladle; the steam should feel pleasant, not burning. Remember to stay hydrated.
Stay in the steam for as long as it feels good. If you feel too hot or uncomfortable, step out to cool down. Finns often take a quick shower, step outside for fresh air, or even roll in soft snow.
4. Turning off the Sauna Stove
Turn off the stove immediately after you finish using the sauna.
Äkäshiisi Lodge: Press and hold the power button on the control panel until the indicator light turns off (about 2 seconds).
Hiisi Lodge I: Turn the timer to zero.
